Laura was one of our own. she joined our His Girls team in 2016.
Her huge smile, her fearless faith, confident prayer life made us better just to know her. She leaves behind her husband, Oswaldo, her daughter, Amber, her granddaughter Londyn Jade. her brother and sister. She left her earthly home in 2023, and she is greatly missed. Until we meet again Laura.
"Cookie" as I remember her being called, was such a beautiful woman of God. I remember as a teenager going to church and she would be a guest with her singing family. She would paint as her husband ministered. The paintings were gorgeous and always featured the Cross, lit up in the background of an ocean scene. She was a godly, kind, artistic woman who gave it all to advance the Kingdom of God.
"Grandma Mercy, Grannie, the water lady, Fran's bff, and one of the pillars of Good Shepherd.
She loved being in church, she loved bringing water to the pastor and the guest speakers. she loved to be around the youth group and many of them have stories about being in her home. Today Mercy resides in Apple Valley and she is unable to travel
"Grandma Mercy, Grannie, the water lady, Fran's bff, and one of the pillars of Good Shepherd.
She loved being in church, she loved bringing water to the pastor and the guest speakers. she loved to be around the youth group and many of them have stories about being in her home. Today Mercy resides in Apple Valley and she is unable to travel down to Whittier but we all know Good Shepherd is always in her heart and prayers. Thank you for all you've taught us.
